MEET YOUR COACH
Hey there! I’m Heather. Seasoned athlete, performance coach, retired veterinarian, and founder of the Get Strong for Summer program.
I see sport as a vehicle for connection, impact & empowerment. As an athlete with 25+ years of experience across four sports, I’ve hit many highs but have also gone off course, struggled with burnout, danced with perfectionism, and (temporarily) lost the connection to what made sport fun in the first place.
As a professional coach with 6+ years of coaching high-performing humans across many walks of life, I find deep fulfillment in helping others shine brightly as they experience success—in sport and life—in an aligned, deeply fulfilling way.
I created the Get Strong for Summer program to offer you the skills, practices and ideas that helped me find my way back from burnout to a deeply meaningful, joyful and successful path forward in sport and life.

Get Strong for Summer is for You if:
You have sporting (and life-ing) goals you’re working toward and you want to be at your best
You want to fill your backpack with proven next-level practices to help you succeed
You have a plan to train your body but not your mind*
You tend to be hard on yourself and experience negative self-talk
You struggle to deal with setbacks (injury, training hiccups, results that “fell short,” bad weather…) and find yourself derailed OR don’t currently have a plan for dealing with them

It doesn’t matter if you’re a new athlete, a seasoned veteran, or somewhere in between. Maybe you want to run a 5km, or perhaps your target is to go a very very long way. It could be you’ve got personal projects that don’t involve formal finishing lines. All experiences, goals and level are equally valid, welcomed, and celebrated as we Get Strong for Summer together!
*PLEASE NOTE: Heather does not offer physical training programs or specific advice about this aspect of training. She is fortunate to work alongside many incredible coaches who have that piece of the puzzle dialled, and is happy to connect you with one!
YOUR PROGRAM INCLUDES:
EXPERT COACHING
You get access to Heather Kennedy, a certified professional coach with 6+ years experience guiding high-performing humans in all walks of life and athlete with 25+ years experience training and racing in 4 sports (triathlon, cycling, trail/mountain running, nordic skiing) from the local to international level.
Heather facilitates all live group sessions, 1:1 coaching sessions (for Gold and Silver level program members), and is available to answer questions in the community hub between sessions.
6 LIVE WORKSHOP SESSIONS
You receive guidance and next-level practices to start applying immediately during your training sessions and everyday life. You do the work between sessions to experience growth and see results.
Live sessions are held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30 am (PST) on these dates: February 12, 19, 26; March 5, 12; April 2.
Recordings will be available within 24 hours of each session should you be unable to attend.
A VIBRANT COMMUNITY HUB
Community is everything! We go faster, farther and longer together (and have way more fun!). For the duration of the program, you’ll be part of a community of of like-minded athletes who want to succeed in sport and life.
You’ll have the opportunity to participate in a community hub where you can ask questions, get inspired, make lasting connections, and benefit from the wealth of knowledge and lived experience each individual brings with them.
Heather will participate regularly in the community hub and is there to answer questions between live sessions.
RESOURCES THAT LIVE ON
You’ll receive a downloadable workbook with each session filled with prompts and powerful coaching questions to reflect on. It’s a space to chart your journey and plan your steps as you move toward the success and fulfillment you’re after.
You’ll receive a bonus video each week during the program with supplemental content to help you implement your learning.
You’ll also receive recordings of each live session and accompanying presentation materials.

Sessions 1-5 include 45 minutes of guided learning with 15 minutes of dedicated space for Q &A.
We take a 3-week pause between sessions 5 and 6 to give you extra time to process, integrate, see what’s working and notice where you need support/have questions that need answering.
Session 6 gives you the opportunity to express your wins, questions and learnings as you look ahead to what’s next.

This program is for you if you’re an athlete with sporting and life-ing goals. All are welcome and will benefit, from new to seasoned athletes and everyone in between!

No worries! All live sessions will be recorded and available within 24 hours. You’ll also have access to all resources (including the community hub and 1:1 coaching sessions if these are part of your package)

If, partway through the program, you’d like to dive deeper in a customized coaching session with Heather, this may be possible. Spaces for 1:1 sessions are limited, but if any remain you’ll have the option to upgrade to either the Silver or Gold program option and can simply pay the remaining price difference. You’ll receive a welcome e-mail within 48 hours of registration. Please check your promotions/spam folders if it doesn’t land in your inbox. If you’ve registered for the Gold or Silver package, Heather will e-mail you directly to book your 1:1 coaching session(s).

1:1 coaching sessions with Heather will be available between February 12/25 and May 31/25 to offer you flexibility once the program has ended. We will find a time that works well for us both to hold your session(s).

You’ll have access to the live session recordings and resources as well as your program workbook. If you want to coach 1:1 with Heather once the program has ended, you’re eligible for a 10% discount on her standard coaching programs (read about them here).
