You don’t need to do more.
It’s time to do differently.
You’re a big-hearted high achiever who knows how to get things done. You care deeply. People rely on you. And setting the bar high has served you well in life, perhaps for a long time.
But something has changed. You feel stuck on a performance treadmill and you’re tired. Maybe you’re even flirting with burnout, feeling resentful, or struggling in your work and relationships.
I see you. My job, as a certified coach and high achiever who has experienced burnout and found a new path forward, is to walk with you as you (re)connect with your energy, agency, and find a way of living that feels truly balanced and fulfilling.
You make the world a better place, simply by existing. And you deserve to feel rested, energized, and inspired.
All of you is welcome. We’re in this together.
“Heather. THANK YOU for helping me on my journey to being radiant!”

My Approach to Coaching & Life
You don’t need results, titles, or external recognition to establish your worth. You don’t need to do more. You’re already worthy.
You can’t do it all. Getting clear on what matters most and making choices to support that is key to balance and well-being.
The little things you do every day make the biggest difference to how you feel and the decisions you make.
Coaching is an incredible vehicle for sparking the change you want to see in your life and creating a sustainable plan so you stay on track.
Connection to those who see you, offer unconditional support, and lift you up will keep you steady when the winds of life blow.
High achieving is a superpower! When you are energized, happy, rested and calm, you’re capable of lighting up the world!
My Story
I got used to achieving at a young age in a home where academic excellence was prized and results were rewarded. I thrived on external affirmation and set a high bar for myself, first in studies, and then in sport.
From the outside, I appeared to be successful and happy. I’d realized my dream of becoming a veterinarian, was competing at a high level in triathlon, and married an amazing human.
But inside, I was crumbling. Years of relentless achieving, people-pleasing and perfectionism left me exhausted. I’d lost touch with my own emotions and agency. My sense of self-worth was in tatters. Even worse: my stress was affecting my dearest relationships.
A health scare put things into clear perspective. I needed change.
So I left my veterinary career. We moved across the country to live close to nature and pursue our passions. And I finally came to understand that I couldn’t make myself feel healthy on the inside by doing more or better.
I devoured self-help books, opened myself up to love, and discovered coaching. Getting coached was such a tremendous catalyst for change in my own life that I pursued certification through Erickson Coaching International so I’d have the tools to walk alongside others as they make the brave choice to do life differently.
6+ years later, I’ve coached
I GET YOU AND I’VE GOT YOU.
Button: Coach with me
MY STORY
I spent several decades pursuing excellence in academics, my veterinary career, and endurance sport. I was highly motivated by external affirmation. That worked for a time but ultimately gave me a shaky sense of self-worth outside of results and accomplishments.
I lived my life around other people’s schedules and expectations. I said yes to everything, practiced perfectionism, forgot how to rest, was chronically overtrained, and had nothing left in my tank for the people who truly mattered most to me.
I thought something was wrong with me. Hadn’t I done everything “right?” I had my dream job of helping animals, found an amazing partner, got to race in cool places. And yet I was miserable and exhausted.
The more tired I got, the harder I pushed. I experienced continual negative self-talk and disordered/stress eating. I couldn’t find joy in my sporty pursuits (or anything else). And I’d completely lost my connection to myself and my inherent worth.
Everything changed one day in my mid-thirties. A health scare hit home, and I chose to show up for myself and my husband. I left my career, we moved across the country to live close to nature, and I learned to do life differently.
Here’s what I discovered:
I couldn’t make myself feel healthy on the inside by doing more, doing better. I needed to unlearn the unsupportive beliefs and resulting behaviour patterns that kept me stuck. I devoured self-help books, opened myself up to love, and worked with a coach.
I’m a better me for all of it, and I’m grateful. I know how good it is to finally feel great in my own skin and show up as fully me in my work, sport, and relationships. I get to play on the trails and race again for fun, not for accomplishment. Sporty Soul, I want this for you too.
THIS IS WHY I COACH. This is why I’m rooting for YOU. I want you to find the grounding, confidence, self-belief and path forward you need to get results you’re proud of—in life and sport—while feeling a deep sense of joy and fulfillment.
WHY
The world is a busy place, and as a high achiever you tend to take on
You make the world a better place, simply by existing. And as a high achiever, you’re
And when you’re energized, happy, rested, rested and connected (to yourself and others), you light up the world around you!
HOW
WHAT
Why:
How:
What:
· You make the world a better place, simply by existing. And you deserve to feel rested, energized, and inspired.
Healthy, rested humans make the world around them better. At work, at home, at play. They make better decisions, have greater capacity to show up in all aspects of life (work, relationships), etc
· You don’t need to earn your rest. Use the photo of me on the floor in this section!
· Small actions, repeated frequently and consistently, make the biggest difference in the long term/create sustainability
· Unravelling identity from results and titles
· It’s not about changing who you are. It’s about stepping even more fuilly into it. Not letting go of being a high achiever, but making it work for who you are now as a superpower while honoring all of yourself
· You don’t need to do more or prove yourself. You’re already worthy.
· There is nothing “wrong” with you. You’re a beautiful soul, doing your best in a busy and uncertain world (make this an IG post….even a reel)
· Do more of what makes you happy
· You are at your best when you’re rested, connected, and happy. I help you be more of that.
· Connect to yourself: your values, purpose, things and people you love most deeply
